SCARBOROUGH — Andrew Jones had a goal and an assist in the first half Tuesday as Scarborough started on its way to a 5-0 victory against Marshwood in a Southern Maine Activities Association schoolboy soccer game.

Chris Cleary, Elijah Wyman, Trey Chamberlain and Austin Wilcox also scored, and Peter Moore had four stops for the shutout for the Red Storm (4-0).

Jackson Towle saved eight shots for Marshwood (3-1).

 

GORHAM 3, WINDHAM 1: Connor Reagan scored three goals and Seth Wing provided two assists to lead the Rams (3-1) past the Eagles (2-1-1) at Gorham.

Reagan broke a 1-1 tie with 15:25 remaining, then scored again with 14:15 to play.

Mitch Hodge scored for Windham.

Carter Bowers of Gorham and Ben Noble of Windham each made three saves.

 

MORSE 1, OXFORD HILLS 0: Max Rawson scored in the 62nd minute directly from a corner kick as Morse (2-2) won at Bath.

Rawson’s kick curled in just inside the far post.

CHEVERUS 4, BIDDEFORD 1: Ryan Ward snapped a 1-1 tie with a 25-yard shot in the the second half as Cheverus (3-1) downed Biddeford (0-4) at Portland.

Nick Melville of the Stags had the only first-half goal. After Michael Lachance of Biddeford tied it early in the second half, Elliott Maker and Sean Berry added late goals, and Connor Maines turned away five shots in goal to preserve the Stags’ victory.

Tyler Emery finished with 15 saves for Biddeford.

 

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 4, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Matt Michaud scored twice, and Ryan Rousseau had a goal and two assists to help the Panthers (1-1) down the Rangers (0-3-1) at Yarmouth.

Asad Dahia also scored for NYA.

Christian Montembeau made nine saves for Traip, which scored on an own goal.

 

WAYNFLETE 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Omar Abdille scored two second-half goals for Waynflete (2-0) against Sacopee Valley (2-1-1) at Portland.

The game was scoreless until Abdille scored unassisted with 12:15 left. Abdille added his second 1:17 later, heading in a corner kick taken by Kevin Kanakan.

Zander Majercik had four saves for Waynflete. Mitch Barton stopped 12 shots for Sacopee.

YARMOUTH 9, WELLS 0: Sam Torres scored four goals for Yarmouth (4-0) at Wells.

Luke Pierce added two goals, and Campbell Belisle-Haley, Pao Carnero Melero, and Chris Lawlor added one each.

 

LAKE REGION 3, FREEPORT 2: Robert Davis-White beat two defenders, then launched a 25-yard shot into the upper left corner to give Lake Region (1-2-1) an overtime victory against Freeport (0-4-1) at Naples.

The Lakers took a 2-0 lead on goals by Freddie McCarthy, both from Davis-White. Jordan Cyr scored on a first-half corner kick for the Falcons.

Jack Dawe tied it with 2:03 left in regulation.

PORTLAND 5, NOBLE 0: Tim Rovnak had two goals, and Fazal Nabi added a goal and three assists as the Bulldogs (2-1-1) shut out Noble (1-3) at Portland.

The Bulldogs clinched it with three goals in less than three minutes of the second half.

Tony Yekah scored at 29:13, Nabi added his goal 28 seconds later, and another 2:13 passed before Rovnak got his second goal of the game.

Taylor Mannix and Barry Quinn combined for five saves for Portland. Steven Campbell turned away 18 shots for Noble.

BONNY EAGLE 3, SANFORD 2: Jon Thomas scored from Matt McClure with 1:32 left in the second overtime to lift Bonny Eagle (3-1) over the Redskins (2-2) at Sanford.

The Scots took a 2-0 halftime lead on goals by Ryan Jordan and Thomas, but Rob Dudzisz scored twice in the final 15 minutes to tie it.

Matt Willis of Bonny Eagle and Cody McFarland of Sanford made five saves each.

 

KENNEBUNK 4, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Harrison Hall had a goal and an assist to lead the Rams (3-1) past the Golden Trojans (0-4) at Saco.

Bobby Kramer, John Grillo and Lucas Butterfield also scored.

SOUTH PORTLAND 6, MASSABESIC 0: The Red Riots (3-1) scored six second-half goals and defeated Massabesic (0-4) at South Portland.

Dan Grazewski, Will Bushey, Brooks Cannon, Damjin Draskovic, Dillon Leary and Dillon Burns scored.

 

BUCKFIELD 6, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 5: Austin Dooley scored two goals for Buckfield (2-2) against Greater Portland Christian (1-1) at South Portland.

After a 4-4 halftime tie, Alan Hedrick and Cam Allen gave Buckfield a 6-4 lead. Ben Hammond scored his second goal of the game for the Lions in the 77th minute.

DEERING 0, WESTBROOK 0: Austin Blake made three saves for the Blue Blazes (0-3-1) and Jamie Gullbrand stopped five shots for Deering (1-2-1) at Westbrook.

 

ERSKINE ACADEMY 3, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Ryan Pulver had two goals and Brian Potter added one as the Eagles (2-1-1) beat the Red Eddies (2-2) at South China.

Harley Ogilvie and Sean Cabanis had assists for Erskine. Zack Busmanis and Brian Potter combined for three saves.

Connor Harris scored and Ben Bowles had five saves for Edward Little.
