PORTLAND — A Portland couple told police they were sprayed with pepper spray and robbed in an alley on Cumberland Avenue Wednesday.
The couple said they were cutting through an alley near 121 Cumberland Ave. at 9:30 p.m. heading to a friend’s house when two men in their 20s wearing hooded sweatshirts sprayed them and stole the woman’s purse and the man’s wallet.
The couple was unable to provide a good description of the attackers.
