FREEPORT — Southbound traffic on I-295 is still moving at a crawl as a result of a crash involving a tractor-trailor truck and a box truck. The accident occurred at Mile 25 in Freeport.
No one was injured when the tractor-trailer rear-ended the box truck at 6:30 a.m.
Traffic was at a standstill as crews hurried to clean up the accident.
