GORHAM – Mia Rapolla scored 10 of her 17 points in the second half Saturday night as Gorham rallied past McAuley for a 37-27 victory, sending the Lions to their first Southern Maine Activities Association schoolgirl basketball loss of the season.

The Lions (14-1) led 20-16 at halftime, but Gorham (13-3) held them to seven points in the second half.

Rapolla was 8 of 11 from the line, including 6 of 6 in the second half.

Allie Clement led McAuley with 10 points.

MARSHWOOD 50, WESTBROOK 41: Aubrey Folger scored 17 points and Jordan Mitchell added 12 for Marshwood (7-8) against Westbrook (4-12) at South Berwick.

Marshwood led 32-29 after three quarters, then pulled away at the foul line. Folger and Mitchell each went 6 of 6 from the line down the stretch.

SOUTH PORTLAND 53, BONNY EAGLE 44: Abby Hasson scored eight of her 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Red Riots (11-5), trailing 27-26 through three quarters, rallied past the Scots (7-9) at South Portland.

Danielle DiBiase and Stephanie McDonough added nine points apiece for the Red Riots, who made 12 foul shots in the fourth quarter.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 47, SACOPEE VALLEY 38: Eliza Gendron had 13 points and nine rebounds as the Panthers (8-7) downed Sacopee Valley (7-8) at Yarmouth.

Gendron scored seven points in the second quarter to help the Panthers take a 27-20 halftime lead.

SCARBOROUGH 57, NOBLE 38: Courtney Alofs had 17 points and 13 rebounds as the Red Storm (5-11) beat Noble (2-14) at Scarborough.

Alofs also had six steals. Brittany Bona had eight points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots, and Maria Philbrick finished with 10 points for Scarborough, which led 19-5 after the first quarter.

WINDHAM 62, KENNEBUNK 26: Meghan Gribbin finished with 17 points, four assists and four steals to lead the Eagles (10-6) past the Rams (0-16) at Windham.

Stephanie Frost added 12 points and six rebounds, and Olivia Hurd had nine points and eight rebounds for Windham. Kerry Donnelly paced Kennebunk with 10 points.

YORK 57, FALMOUTH 35: Stephanie Gallagher had 17 points as the Wildcats (16-0) defeated the Yachtsmen (8-8) at York.

York led 19-1 after the first quarter, with Gallagher and Nicole Taylor combining for 12. Taylor finished with 11.

HOCKEY

BIDDEFORD 3, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 2: Delani Roy, Jenna Roy and Brandee LeClair scored for the Tigers (8-10) against Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete (5-13) at Portland.

YORK 2, PORTLAND 0: Nikki Heroux and Olivia Leroux scored, and Olivia Drew made seven saves as the Wildcats (14-4) shut out the Bulldogs (5-13) at Rochester, N.H.

Courtney Rickett made 37 saves for Portland.

LEAVITT/EDWARD LITTLE 1, GREELY 0: Kayla Royer scored from Tori Couture at 7:04 of the first period as Leavitt (10-8) beat Greely (11-6-1) at Portland.

WINSLOW 2, CHEVERUS 1: Jen Poulin collected a goal and an assist as the Black Raiders (10-3-3) built a 2-0 lead and held off the Stags (11-6-1) at Portland.

Sarah LaQuerre scored for Cheverus.

BRUNSWICK 3, LEWISTON 1: Sarah Gibson scored twice and Sarah Thibeault once to lead the Dragons (8-9-1) past the Blue Devils (4-12-2) at Lewiston.

FALMOUTH 6, GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE 0: Gabby St. Angelo had two goals and an assist as the Yachtsmen (8-10) shut out Gorham/Bonny Eagle (0-18) at Falmouth.
