NAPLES – Adam Shane had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs Wednesday to lead Lake Region to a 5-3 victory against Old Orchard Beach in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

Danny Place added two doubles for the Lakers (4-6).

Josh Robbins retired the first 10 batters for Lake Region (4-6), and allowed three runs on three hits, striking out five in 5 2/3 innings.

Ben Shain entered with the tying run on second in the sixth and got the final four outs. 

FALMOUTH 5, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Matt MacDowell doubled and scored in the first inning, then added an RBI single in the fifth to lead the Yachtsmen (5-5) past the Raiders (1-11) at Fryeburg.

Addison Fultmer of Falmouth gave up one run on three hits, striking out five in six innings.

GREELY 10, WELLS 0: Jonah Normandeau struck out eight and walked two in a three-hitter as the Rangers (10-1) downed the Warriors (6-4) in six innings at Cumberland.

Pete Stauber had two hits, drove in two runs and scored twice for Greely. 

FREEPORT 13, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Dan Burke allowed one hit, and finished with three strikeouts and three walks in four innings as the Falcons (3-8) defeated the Hawks (0-10) in five innings at Freeport. 

WINDHAM 13, GORHAM 7: Cody Dube went 3 for 4 with two doubles, a triple, three RBI and three runs to lead the Eagles (5-5) past the Rams (2-8) at Windham. 

ROCKLAND 4, LEAVITT 3: Luke Morrill had a pair of singles, drew two intentional walks and scored once for the Tigers (8-3), who scored three runs in the fifth inning and held off the Hornets (4-7) at Turner. 

CHEVERUS 14, MASSABESIC 4: Jack Bushey struck out six in a three-hitter, and also went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI to lead the Stags (9-1) past the Mustangs (1-9) in six innings at Waterboro.

Harry Ridge added a two-run single in a five-run fourth that gave Cheverus an 11-3 lead. 

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 5, GEORGES VALLEY 3: Roger Bachelder got the final three outs for the save and hit two doubles with an RBI for the Mustangs (8-2) against the Buccaneers (2-6) at Monmouth. 

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 12, POLAND 9: Heath Martell hit a grand slam in a five-run fifth inning that gave the Patriots (5-6) an 11-2 lead, and finished with two hits and six RBI against the Knights (3-9) at Poland. 

KENNEBUNK 7, NOBLE 4: Nick Emmons hit two triples and a homer with three RBI and three runs, and was the winning pitcher for the Rams (3-7) against the Knights (1-10) at North Berwick. 

YORK 2, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Aaron Todd hit an RBI single and Anthony Sciaudone followed with a sacrifice fly as the Wildcats (6-4) scored twice in the seventh inning to edge the Rangers (7-5) at York. 

YARMOUTH 4, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Aidan Sullivan pitched a four-hitter with three strikeouts, and had two hits with two RBI to lead the Clippers (9-2) over the Capers (9-2) at Yarmouth.

MARSHWOOD 10, WESTBROOK 7: Jeff Hatheway finished with two goals and two assists to lead the Hawks (4-4) past the Blue Blazes (4-5) at South Berwick. 

KENNEBUNK 16, BONNY EAGLE 1: Sean Finn had five goals and two assists, and Clayton Spang added four goals and one assist as the Rams (5-3) downed the Scots (0-7) at Kennebunk. 

PORTLAND 17, GORHAM 4: Caleb Kenney collected four goals and four assists, and Seamus Kilbride added four goals and three assists as the Bulldogs (8-1) downed the Rams (4-4) at Portland.

It was the 100th career win for Portland Coach Eric Begonia. 

SCARBOROUGH 19, WINDHAM 1: Tim Smith collected four goals and an assist to lead the Red Storm (8-1) over the Eagles (3-5) at Scarborough.

LAKE REGION 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Jared Black and T.J. Leach scored less than five minutes apart to give the Lakers (2-6) a 3-1 lead, and Joe Turnbull made 19 saves against the Raiders (0-10) at Naples. 

GREELY 15, FREEPORT 6: Matt Ricker scored six goals, and Paul Witte had four goals and four assists to lead the Rangers (5-3) past the Falcons (5-4) at Cumberland. 

CHEVERUS 15, NOBLE 4: Evan Jendrasko scored four goals to lead the Stags (2-5) over the Knights (1-7) at Portland. 

DEERING 14, MASSABESIC 5: Zach Poulin scored five goals, and Carleton Allen and Matt Flaherty each had two goals and four assists for the Rams (8-1) against the Mustangs (5-3) at Portland.
