HERMON — The president and vice president of a commercial tire business were honored as Maine’s Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
James McCurdy is president and James Lynch is vice president of Maine Commercial Tire, Inc., in Hermon. The 20-year-old business supplies new tires, retreaded tires and service to Maine trucking businesses.
They were honored at the SBA’s National Small Business Week in Washington. The theme was “Empowering Entrepreneurs.”
