WATERBORO — A 34-year-old man who was working on his car over the weekend was killed when the car rolled onto him, authorities said.
The York County Sheriff’s Office reported that Robert Bachelder of North Waterboro had been working on his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Sunday when the car rolled and pinned him beneath it.
Rescue workers were called to the scene at 5:43 p.m. and found Bachelder unresponsive. They were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
