PORTLAND — The newest hotel on the peninsula is now open.
Buffalo Lodging Associates, which is running the hotel, said this afternoon that the Hampton Inn Portland/Downtown-Waterfront is open at 209 Fore St.
The 122-room hotel is owned by Mark Woglom and Greg Kirsch and was built by Opechee Construction Corp. of Belmont, N.H. The hotel has some studio suites; an indoor, heated pool; a fitness center; and meeting space.
