ROCHESTER, N.H. — A hit-and-run accident in Rochester has landed a Maine woman in the hospital.
Police say 26-year-old Nicole Boucher of Lebanon, Maine, was crossing North Main Street on foot just after 8 p.m. Tuesday when she was struck by a green Dodge Neon.
Police tell Foster’s Daily Democrat that the driver initially stopped, but then fled the scene.
Boucher was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the driver.
