PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A Warwick home renovated on the ABC show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is up for sale.
The Providence Journal reports Ken and Doreen Silva put their house on the market on Aug. 19 for $409,900.
Doreen Silva says the couple is planning to buy a farm and house in northern New England. She says her family needs more space for their biological, foster and adopted children. The couple is also hoping to use the home to launch a nonprofit organization and day camp for families at risk of losing their children.
Silva says the couple plans to adopt three more children, bringing the household total to 11 people.
The home makeover show ripped down the couple’s lead-contaminated house in 2008 and replaced it with a 3,100-square-foot home.
