Sandy Moran of Spring Meadows Golf Club set a women’s course record by shooting a 2-over 73 on Saturday. Moran had a 1-under 34 on the front nine before closing with a 39 on the back nine.
Chris Cummings made a hole-in-one on the 113-yard 13th hole at Fox Ridge Golf Club on Aug. 21. Cummings used a pitching wedge for the shot, which was witnessed by John Allen, Travis Jalbert and Shawn Holebrook.
Dave Giroux aced the fourth hole at Gorham Country Club on Aug. 21. He used a 5-wood for the 170-yard shot. Al Glazier, Paul Willis and Dennis Walch witnessed the feat.
Lester Doucette, 71, recorded his second hole-in-one of the season at Nonesuch River Golf Club on Aug. 23. Lester used a 9-iron to ace the 110-yard second hole. His previous hole-in-one came on the fourth hole on July 3. Larry Bell and Bill Banks witnessed the shot.
Bob Myers aced the second hole at Nonesuch River Golf Club on Friday. Myers used an 8-iron for the 153-yard shot, which was witnessed by Tim Nee and Justin Barto.
Dale McBurnie of Denmark made his first hole-in-one Friday at Naples Golf Club. McBurnie used a 5-hybrid for the 137-yard shot on the ninth hole. Sandra McBurnie, Gene Stone and Jo Stone were his playing partners.
