PORTLAND — Portland police are searching for a man who robbed the CVS Pharmacy at the Pine Tree Shopping Plaza on Brighton Avenue.
A man approached the pharmacy counter at 8 p.m. and demanded narcotics. After being given some prescription medication, the man ran, headed outbound on Brighton Avenue. There was no weapon shown and no injuries reported.

The suspect is described a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6 feet tall, wearing faded baggy jeans, a dark hooded sweatshirt and dirty brown leather workboots, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 874-8533.
