STANDISH — A veteran college administrator has been appointed interim president of St. Joseph’s College.
The board of trustees has named Kenneth Lemanski of Winchester, Mass., to the post. The college says Lemanski has held senior positions at the University of Massachusetts and the Council of Presidents for the Massachusetts State University system, and most recently at Westfield State University in Westfield, Mass.
Lemanski steps in for Joseph Lee, who announced in August that he was stepping down after four years on the job.
College officials say a national search will be conducted to find a permanent replacement.
