1. Bonny Eagle: The defending Class A outdoor state champion brings back four key scorers from last year’s team.

 

2. Gorham: Finished sixth at the Class A state outdoor meet last year, but may bring back as many as eight athletes who scored.

 

3. Scarborough: The Red Storm finished eighth last year at the Class A outdoor state meet, but return four who scored. And the school won the state indoor title.

 

4. York: Won its first Class B indoor state title with a versatile and deep team ahead of a talented Waterville squad.

 

5. Falmouth: Knocking on the door of a state championship with a third-place finish at the Class B indoor state meet this year, and a second-place finish at last year’s outdoor state meet.
