A fire in Lebanon on Friday destroyed the home of a family that was on vacation.

Crews from at least 10 fire departments responded to the fire at the single-story modular home on Windswept Road.

One firefighter was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in nearby Rochester, N.H., and treated for heat exhaustion, said Lebanon Fire Chief Blaine “Skip” Wood.

The first fire call came in at 5:30 p.m. The fire was under control by about 6:30 p.m., Wood said.

He said the family has been notified about the fire. He said the state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
