YARMOUTH — Grace O’Donnell and Shannon Fallon combined for 10 goals and three assists Wednesday to lead Yarmouth to a 17-9 victory against Falmouth in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Emma Torres had two goals and an assist, Lane Simsarian added a pair of goals and Mary Kate Gunville had six saves for Yarmouth (8-1).

Sydney Bell had three goals, and Julia Spugnardi contributed two goals and an assist for Falmouth (3-6).

CAPE ELIZABETH 9, GREELY 6: Abby McInerney scored four goals as the Capers (6-3) topped the Rangers (3-6) at Cumberland.

Gabby Bouchard had three goals, and Teal Otley added two goals and two assists for Greely.

SCARBOROUGH 16, WESTBROOK 10: Bailey Adams and Ainsley Jamieson combined for seven goals and an assist as the Red Storm (6-4) defeated the Blue Blazes (6-4) at Westbrook.

Emma Smith added two goals and an assist for Scarborough.

Emily Mullen scored three goals, and Jackie Harris and Emma Riley each had two for Westbrook.

MT. ARARAT 9, BRUNSWICK 6: Carly Raymond and Sierra Gilley scored three goals each as the Eagles (5-5) held off the Dragons (4-5) at Topsham.

Erin Tome, Rebecca Schuman and Alison Nolan each added a goal, and Bailey Sullivan had eight saves for Mt. Ararat.

Caley Nicholson scored twice and Em Aschbrenner had 15 saves for Brunswick.

YORK 17, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Taylor Simpson had six goals and an assist to lead the Wildcats (5-4) over Fryeburg Academy (1-9) at York.

Courtney Cole added five goals and two assists, and Taylor Vallee scored four goals with two assists for York, which opened a 13-1 halftime lead.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 17, WELLS 15: Olivia Madore scored four goals, including the go-ahead goal with three minutes left, as the Panthers (4-6) beat the Warriors (4-5) at Wells.

FREEPORT 9, LAKE REGION 5: Ramsey Dodge scored five goals to lead Freeport (7-4) over Lake Region (1-9) at Naples.

Sam Wogan and Eli Fox added two goals each for the Falcons.

Zach Tidd scored three goals for Lake Region.

KENNEBUNK 11, YARMOUTH 4: Tyler Elkington had five goals and two assists to lead Kennebunk (6-4) over the Clippers (6-4) at Yarmouth,

Joshua Hussey and Patric Murphy scored two goals each for the Rams.

CHEVERUS 12, PORTLAND 3: James Kane had four goals and two assists as Cheverus (7-4) downed the visiting Bulldogs (4-6) at Portland.

Tom Lawson chipped in with three goals and an assist for the Stags.

THORNTON ACADEMY 11, WESTBROOK 3: Isaac Sinclair had five goals and an assist as the Golden Trojans (8-3) beat the Blue Blazes (4-6) at Saco.

Zach Bryant added a pair of goals, and Jack Grondin and Chris Camire combined for seven saves for Thornton.

FALMOUTH 15, GREELY 8: IV Stucker had seven goals and four assists to lead the Yachtsmen (9-1) past the Rangers (6-4) at Falmouth.

Nick Beaulieu had five saves for Falmouth. Mitchell Mullins scored twice for Greely.

MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 24, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Zach Glazier scored six goals, and Toby Smith finished with four goals and six assists to lead the Hawks (10-0) over Lincoln Academy (0-10) at Kents Hill.

Denver Cram had four goals and three assists, and A.J. Stephens added three goals for Maranacook/Winthrop.

BASEBALL

MT. VIEW 6, MARANACOOK 5: Erik Larabee scored the winning run in the seventh inning on a misplayed grounder to short as the Mustangs (4-10) edged the Black Bears (5-8) at Thorndike.

Mikey Hustus went 3 for 4 with two RBI and a run, and Larrabee was 1 for 4 with an RBI.

Nathan Wren picked up the win, pitching the seventh inning in relief, allowing one run on two hits. Cam Brochu and Jason Brooks were 2 for 4 for Maranacook, and Kent Mohler added two hits and two RBI.

POLAND 9, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Corey Cunliffe drove in two runs to pace the Knights (11-3) over Fryeburg Academy (0-13) at Poland.

Shawn Murphy struck out eight, walked two and gave up three hits for Poland. Isaiah Dubois pitched the seventh, with one walk and two strikeouts.

SOFTBALL

SCARBOROUGH 17, WESTBROOK 0: Lilly Volk pitched a one-hitter, walking two and striking out nine as the Red Storm (13-0) rolled past the Blue Blazes (1-12) at Westbrook.

The game was scoreless until the Red Storm scored four runs in the fifth inning, helped by back-to-back triples by Alyssa Williamson and Brenna Kent.

Williamson finished with three hits and three RBI, and Brittany Plowman added three hits, including a triple.

POLAND 8, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4: Madison Simard went 2 for 4 with a double as the Knights (8-7) defeated the Raiders (7-8) at Poland.

Kristen Chapman was 3 for 4 with a double and triple for Poland.

GREELY 6, YORK 1: Miranda Moore struck out six, walked three and gave up six hits as Greely (9-3) downed the Wildcats (1-11) at York.

Elise Dinan hit a leadoff homer in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie. Kayley Cimino led off the fifth with a triple and Moore followed with a triple that sparked a three-run inning.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 5, MORSE 4: The Eagles (4-9) scored in the sixth inning and held off the Shipbuilders (3-11) at South China. Hope Faulkingham had three hits for Morse.
