Take a trolley ride back in time at the Seashore Trolley Speakeasy Aug. 22 at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport

From 6 to 10:30 p.m., more than a dozen Prohibition-era street cars will be transformed into cocktail lounges.

Dogfish Bar & Grill will operate the bar, and has created a special drink for the event called the Seashore 75 – a raspberry-infused vermouth and vodka martini, garnished with fresh raspberries.

Vena’s Fizz House will mix mocktails for those who prefer non-alcoholic drinks. The food will be catered by Blue Elephant Events.

Guests will be transported around the event on Car 396, built in 1897 and used in Otto Preminger’s 1963 production of “The Cardinal.” Silent films will be projected outdoors on the side of a car barn, and all the musical acts will perform music written from 1920 to 1933.

Tickets are $50 per person, and can be purchased by calling 967-2800, ext. 101; by downloading a ticket order form at trolleymuseum.org or by ordering on the website.
