SANFORD — Morgan Champagne scored three goals Wednesday as Sanford topped Portland 3-1 in a field hockey game.

Liz Helmreich assisted on two of Champagne’s goals.

Sanford (3-0) enjoyed a 32-8 shot advantage.

Gabrielle Wagabaza scored for Portland (2-1).

Gianna Gaudet made 29 saves.

YARMOUTH 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Fiona Clark scored on a deflected shot with a minute remaining to lift the Clippers (3-0) over the Hawks (2-1) at South Hiram.

Sacopee Valley battled back from a 2-0 deficit, pulling even on Abby Mosson’s drive from the top of the circle midway through the second half.

Molly Wilson and Taylor Robison scored for Yarmouth in the first 12 minutes. Ashley Parker had the Hawks’ first goal 14 minutes into the first half.

Chloe Ronco stopped 19 shots for Sacopee Valley. Tori Messina made six saves for Yarmouth.

CHEVERUS 1, BONNY EAGLE 0: Hattie Train scored late in the first half and Lauren Girard made five saves to guide the Stags (3-0) past the Scots (1-2) at Standish.

Melissa Jones stopped 10 shots for Bonny Eagle.

MARSHWOOD 2, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Claudia Folger scored with 19:22 remaining in the first half to give the Hawks (2-1) the lead for good as they shut out the Golden Trojans (1-2) at Saco.

Lindsey Poirier also scored for Marshwood. Cassidy Smith blocked seven shots, Isabella Capozzi had three saves for Thornton Academy.

MASSABESIC 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Logan Champlin scored with eight minutes remaining and Kelley Wescott made 11 saves to help the Mustangs (1-2) win at South Portland.

Mira Kuni scored a pair of first-half goals as Massabesic took a 2-1 lead. Sophia Cummings tied it two minutes into the second half.

Kelby Doyle also scored for South Portland (0-3). Grace Chitam stopped eight shots.

BIDDEFORD 2, DEERING 1: Charlotte White scored on a feed from Taylor Turgeon and Mallory Mourmouras scored on a breakaway to stake the Tigers (2-1) to a lead in the first half as they held off the Rams (1-2) at Biddeford.

GORHAM 2, WESTBROOK 1: Andrea Stemm scored her second goal of the game with 12:18 remaining as the Rams (3-0) edged host Westbrook (0-3).

Zoe Shields made eight saves for the Blue Blazes; Megan Baker made four for the Rams.

WINDHAM 11, MCAULEY 0: Erin Malloy scored three goals as the Eagles (2-1) breezed past the Lions (0-3) at Portland.

SCARBOROUGH 12, NOBLE 0: Kristen Murray had four goals and Maddy Dobecki scored three as the Red Storm (3-0) handled the Knights (0-3) at Scarborough.

Noble’s Marcelline LaRiccia stopped 16 shots.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, MT. ABRAM 0: Sarah Klein scored unassisted in the first half as the Falcons (1-1) edged the Roadrunners (0-3) at Salem.

Sarah Klein put in a rebound in the second half.

Karen Flaherty stopped three shots to record the shutout.

DEERING 4, MASSABESIC 0: Cora Melcher had two goals and an assist, Micary Verville also scored twice and the Rams (2-0) blanked the Mustangs (1-1) at Portland.

Emily Mooney made three saves in the first 65 minutes, and Cassidy Coyne did not face a shot in finishing with the the shutout.

Hannah Lundrigan stopped 13 shots for Massabesic.

GORHAM 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Lizzie Sullivan and Jenny Darasz scored goals in the first half to overcome an early deficit as the Rams (1-1) defeated the visiting Scots (0-1-1).

Meghan Perrin scored for the Rams in the second half.

Lizzie Adkins scored in the first half for Bonny Eagle on a feed from Abby Cates.

Renae Staples and Emma Smith split time in net for Gorham. Kelsey Parkin made 15 saves for the Scots.

WINDHAM 10, SANFORD 0: Jenna Soucy had three goals and an assist and Elizabeth Mycock made six saves to help the Eagles (2-0) cruise over host Sanford (0-2).

Madison Mauro had two goals and an assist and Melissa Morton added a goal and an assist for Windham.

MARSHWOOD 10, NOBLE 0: Sydney Jackman had three goals and three assists as the Hawks (3-0) eased by the Knights (0-2) at South Berwick.

VINALHAVEN 2, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 0: The Vikings (1-0) took a first-half lead on an own goal and Deja Doughty scored unassisted in the second half as they shut out the Lions (0-3) at Portland.

Clarissa Jones had 14 saves for GPCS and Virginia Wadleigh stopped two shots.

KENNEBUNK 1, FALMOUTH 1: The Rams (1-0-1) and Yachtsmen (1-0-1) played to a draw at Falmouth.

Tyler Spence scored in the 66th minute to give Falmouth the lead. Alyssa Weigle tied the contest two minutes later on a direct kick.

Adelaide Cooke stopped 11 shots for the Yachtsmen; Kyra Schwartzman recorded 12 saves for Kennebunk.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 4, CHOP POINT SCHOOL 1: Jeremiah Hammond scored a goal in each half to pace the offense as the Lions (2-0-1) topped the Blue Bears (1-1) at Woolwich.

John Konczal added a pair of assists, and Killian Patterson rounded out the scoring for GPCS.

Ethan Spaulding scored for Chop Point, and Cullen Cummings made nine saves.

TEMPLE ACADEMY 2, A.R. GOULD 0: Mikah Riportella and Joey Rossignol each scored as Temple Academy (2-0) shut out the Bears (0-2) at South Portland.

Garrett Smith stopped seven shots. Dariyn Wolfe recorded 23 saves for A. R. Gould.
