YARMOUTH — Kiersten Marr scored with three minutes left in the first overtime to lift the North Yarmouth Academy field hockey team to a 1-0 victory over Waynflete on Monday afternoon.

Marr scored off a right-to-left cross from Charlotte Eisenberg.

Elizabeth Coughlin had three saves for NYA (4-1). Waynflete keeper Kiera McWhinnie kept the Flyers (1-3) in the game with 18 saves.

DEERING 4, BONNY EAGLE 0: The Rams (2-2) scored four times in the second half, including two unassisted goals by Kaytlin DiBiase, to beat the Scots (1-3) in Portland.

Rylie Turner added a goal and an assist, while Kristen Francoeur contributed a goal for Deering. Lillian Frager stopped four shots for the Rams. Melissa Jones had two saves for Bonny Eagle.

CAPE ELIZABETH 1, GREELY 0: Taylor Herrera scored with an assist from Caroline Garfield as the Capers (4-2) beat the Rangers (0-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

Mary DiPietro made six saves to earn the shutout for Cape. Lizzie Brown had three saves for the Rangers.

TRAIP ACADEMY 2, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Molly Humiston scored 4:20 into the first half to give the Rangers (2-3) an early lead in a win over the Seagulls (0-6) at Kittery.

Natalie Cartabona, who assisted on the first-half goal, added a goal of her own at the 25:25 mark of the second half on a feed from Kiara Perez.

Taylor Kashmer stopped two shots for Traip, while Jennie Cobb had nine saves for Old Orchard Beach.

FREEPORT 3, POLAND 0: Bailey Coffin scored a hat trick as the Falcons (3-2) beat the Knights (3-2) in Freeport.

Morgan Karnes made 10 saves to earn the shutout, while Tia Lowndes had six saves for Poland.

YARMOUTH 6, WELLS 0: The Clippers remained perfect (5-0) with a shutout over the Warriors (2-3) in Wells.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, LAKE REGION 0: Nicole Thurston and Janelle Wiesemann scored two goals apiece as the Raiders (3-1) beat the Lakers (3-3).

GIRLS’ SOCCER

CHEVERUS 2, MCAULEY 1: Abby Goodrich scored both goals for Cheverus (1-1-1) in a win over host McAuley (1-2).

Goodrich gave the Stags the lead midway through the first half. Ayla Tartre tied it up before halftime for the Lions. Goodrich then scored the game-winning goal midway through the second.

Hannah Tyson had 12 saves for Cheverus. Chelsea Rairdon had 12 for McAuley.

Erskine 2, Morse 0: Christina Belanger scored both goals as the Eagles (4-0-0) beat the Shipbuilders in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game in South China.

VINALHAVEN 1, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 0: Deja Doughty scored early in the first half and the Vikings (3-0) beat the Lions (0-5) at Vinalhaven.

Clarissa Jones had 11 saves for Greater Portland Christian.
