Republican Sen. Susan Collins’ tireless work representing Maine in the U.S. Senate should be recognized and lauded. She has made it a point to never miss a vote, ensuring that Maine’s voice is heard and registered at each and every opportunity.
The simple fact that she has never missed a vote is not what most impressed me, however. Her votes are researched and reasoned; they are not based on partisan directives but are each carefully considered.
I am proud to have Sen. Collins representing me. I will be voting for her, and I hope that my family and fellow community members will do the same.
