Hany Ramadan scored two minutes into the second overtime Thursday to give Deering a 2-1 victory against Thornton Academy in an SMAA schoolboy soccer game at Memorial Field.

After Simon Trcka scored at 17 minutes of the first half for Thornton (7-2-2), Ahmed Adnan countered midway through the second half for the Rams (9-1-1).

Deering goalkeeper Orey Dutton made a huge save late in regulation.

GORHAM 4, NOBLE 0: Jackson Fotter scored three goals in the first half as the Rams (9-0-2) shut out the Knights (2-9) at North Berwick.

Nate Roberts also scored, and Ryan Firmin, Cody Elliot and Cole Houghton assisted on Fotter’s goals.

BONNY EAGLE 2, CHEVERUS 2: Michele Rovaris scored in the first half and Ryan Moody early in the second to give the Scots (3-5-3) a 2-0 lead against Cheverus (5-3-2) at Standish.

Brady Levesque and Andrei Vile scored minutes apart midway through the second half to tie it.

Zach Moody had 18 saves for Bonny Eagle and Jake Tomkinson 14 for Cheverus.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 3, GREENVILLE 1: Matt Hammond and Jeremiah Hammond scored first-half goals for the Lions (10-0-1) against the Lakers (5-6) at South Portland.

Jeremiah Hammond set up Matt Hammond’s early goal off a corner kick. After Connor DiAngelo answered unassisted for Greenville, Jeremiah Hammond completed the first-half scoring off a corner kick.

Ethan Spaulding scored a second-half goal for the Lions. Matt Mendez recorded 10 saves for Greenville.

FALMOUTH 2, YORK 1: Jake Grade’s goal late in the second overtime lifted Falmouth (9-0-2) over the Wildcats (2-6-3) at York.

Chris D’Aquila of York scored first on a corner kick from Jordan Gomes, but the Yachtsmen tied it on an unassisted goal by Luke Velas.

Jack Scribner had five saves for Falmouth and Connor Smith seven for York.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, LAKE REGION 2: D.J. Nicholas scored twice to lead NYA (6-3-1) over the the Lakers (1-10) in overtime at Naples.

Xander Bartone also scored for the Panthers. Alex Langadas had two goals for Lake Region.

SOUTH PORTLAND 4, MASSABESIC 0: Ahmed Suja scored twice and Henry Curran had five saves as the Red Riots (6-3-2) shut out Massabesic (0-11) at South Portland.

Khalid Sujaa and Tristan Campbell also scored. Justin Crowley made eight saves for the Mustangs.

BIDDEFORD 5, SANFORD 2: Adrian Lopes had two goals and an assist as the Tigers (2-9) defeated the Spartans (2-9) at Biddeford.

Adam Michel, Bailey Fontaine and Badir Saadoon added goals for Biddeford. Mitch Duncan and Adam Thornell countered for Sanford, and Patrick Morris contributed a pair of assists.

RICHMOND 2, PINE TREE ACADEMY 0: Michael Stewart and Cam Emmons scored as the Bobcats (10-0) beat the Breakers (7-3-1) at Freeport.

Marcus Blake had an assist for Richmond.

Robert Pierce made five saves for Pine Tree.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 3, OCEANSIDE 0: Luke Peabody, Sam Wilkinson and Trevor Hubbard scored as Erskine Academy (9-1-1) shut out Oceanside (5-3-2) at Rockland.

Josh Reed picked up the lone assists for the Eagles. Denver Cullivan made two saves.
