DJ Cooper scored the go-ahead goal as the Portland boys’ soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat Biddeford 3-2 on Monday at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

The Tigers (2-12) took a 2-0 lead on first-half goals by Geoffrey Ongee and Bailey Fontaine. Portland (6-2) then scored three straight goals, also in the first half, to take the lead. Pavel Bobe and Brady Cyr scored to tie the game, then Cooper scored with 10:32 left in the half to put the Bulldogs ahead.

Caleb Ball had seven saves for Biddeford, while Bob Brittingham had three saves for Portland.

WELLS 6, LAKE REGION 1: Liam Bell scored four times to lead Wells (6-6-2) past the Lakers (1-13) in Naples.

Alec Pinette and Peter Valentino also scored for the Warriors. Michael Rust tallied for Lake Region.

SCARBOROUGH 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Josh Morrissey, Sam Ware, Wyatt Bridgham, Sam Elliott and Spencer Pettingill each scored goals for the Red Storm (13-0-1) in a win over the Scots (4-7-3) in Scarborough.

Matt Caron added two assists and Christian Aguirre had one for the Red Storm, who led 3-0 at halftime.

Hall-Dale 3, Carrabec 1: Matt Crocker’s hat trick helped the Bulldogs close out the regular season with a 3-1 victory over the Cobras.

Ryan Sinclair assisted on two of Crocker’s goals and Jett Boyer chipped in with an assist as well.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

TRAIP 4, PINE TREE 0: Emma Auclair had two goals and an assist to lift the Rangers (7-5-1) to a win over the Breakers (7-6) in Kittery.

Elora McCuddy added a goal and an assist, while Haley Pereira had a goal and Isabella Mutch an assist.

Lynne Moore needed to make two saves for the shutout.

WAYNFLETE 1, FREEPORT 0: Lydia Giguere received Marijke Rowse’s pass through the box and fired a shot into the lower corner with two minutes left in regulation, boosting the Flyers (8-1-5) over Freeport (4-8-2) in Portland.

Juliana Harwood had nine saves for Waynflete, and Issy Qualls six for the Falcons.

VOLLEYBALL

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, LAKE REGION 0: Monica Dell’Aquila had six kills and seven assists and Hannah Sawyer added five kills to lead the Capers (12-2) to a 25-11, 25-10, 25-7 straight set win over the Lakers (0-13) at Cape Elizabeth.

YARMOUTH 3, WINDHAM 0: Emily Parker finished with six aces, Liz Clark had five assists and 12 assists, and Kenzie Sheehan added five kills to lead the Clippers (13-1) past the Eagles (6-8) in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-4, 25-13 at Windham.

Windham was led on senior night by their three co-captains: Bailey Card, Crystal Frappier and Bri Fullarton.

Card had four assists, one dig and two aces, Frappier added four digs, one block and two kills, and Fullarton had two digs and two assists.
