Well over a year ago, the U.S. Senate passed a bipartisan immigration bill that House Speaker John Boehner refused to bring to the floor of the House. Thus President Obama was quite correct in dealing with this matter as he has done.
Had Boehner been more responsible and mature, all of this political unpleasantness would not have had to occur. We need to place the blame where it belongs – on the infantile behavior of Boehner and his Republican colleagues.
