BOOTHBAY HARBOR —Senior John Hepburn scored his 1,000 career point as the Boothbay Region boys’ basketball team beat Mountain Valley 77-38 on Monday.

Hepburn, who finished with 24 points, hit 1,000 points on his last shot of the game. Jacob Leonard added 12 points, while Abel Byer and Nicholas Burge each had 10. Ryley Flynn had 10 points for Mountain Valley.

WELLS 63, FREEPORT 62: Nate Booth scored 24 points, including four 3-pointers, and Owen Berry hit a jumper in the closing seconds as the Warriors (1-5) edged the Falcons (0-6) at Wells.

Cole Greaves finished with 10 points, while Berry, Jordan Cluff, Tyler Dewey and Deandre Woods each had six points for Wells. Cluff also had eight rebounds.

Brendan Qualls had 17 points and Jack Davenport 13 for Freeport. Elijah Fox added 12 and Connor Dostie 11.

SANFORD 54, NOBLE 52: Connor Yuill scored 19 points and Tye Laviolette added 16 as the Spartans (1-5) held off the visiting Knights (0-7).

Nolan Smeeton had 17 points for Noble.

WINDHAM 72, BIDDEFORD 54: Troy Davis scored 23 points, Kevin Weisser added 15 and Marcus D’Andrea had 13 as the Eagles (4-2) handled the Tigers (1-5) at Biddeford.

Windham led 37-29 at halftime then outscored Biddeford 17-8 in the third quarter for a 54-37 lead. Patrick Pearl had 24 points for Biddeford.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 60, OCEANSIDE 43: Nicholas DePatsy had 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists as the Panthers (5-1) defeated the Mariners (4-2) at Rockland.

Colton Spear added 12 points, while Cameron Allaire and Micah Williamson chipped in 10 apiece for the Panthers. Allaire also had 12 rebounds.

Keenan Hendricks had 14 points and Nick Mazurek had 10 for Oceanside.

MORSE 82, CAMDEN HILLS 70: Ethan Winglass and Keegan McDonough combined for 59 points as the Shipbuilders (2-4) beat Windjammers (5-1) at Rockport.

Winglass had 30 points, while McDonough had 29 points for Morse. Gage Corson led Camden Hills with 22 points.

Girls’ basketball

WINDHAM 37, BIDDEFORD 22: Sadie Nelson had 14 points with seven rebounds to lead the Eagles (2-4) past the Tigers (1-5) at Windham.

Luisa Sbardella had nine points for the Eagles, who outscored Biddeford 15-4 in the fourth quarter.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 53, MT. VIEW 21: Gabrielle Wajer scored 11 points and the Eagles (5-1) went ahead 17-3 in the first quarter on their way to a win over the visiting Mustangs (1-5) at Newcastle.

Taylor Oliver scored five of her 10 points in the first quarter for Lincoln.

SANFORD 50, NOBLE 34: Hannah Howes scored 19 points and Elizabeth Bougie added 13 as the Spartans (1-5) beat the Knights (0-7) in North Berwick.

Girls’ hockey

YORK 1, BIDDEFORD 0: York’s Katherine Bertolini scored the only goal of the game with an assist from Addison Fredette as the Wildcats (5-3-0) beat the Tigers (3-3-0) at Biddeford.
