Drivers and repair crews are dealing with several traffic detours caused by water main breaks in Portland, South Portland and Gorham.

The Portland Water District reported five water main breaks Wednesday, including three in Portland and one each in South Portland and Gorham.

In Portland, traffic is being detoured around a break at 93 Woodford St. Also, Pya Road is closed between Clifton Street and Ocean Avenue for another break. The third break was reported at 41 Bates St., which is off Baxter Boulevard. Traffic there was congested, but the road remains open.

The repairs are expected to be completed late Wednesday afternoon.

Water district crews are working on a break in South Portland at 95 Brigham St. The broken water pipe has left 25 customers without water service.

In Gorham, police are detouring traffic on Main Street for another water main break.
