The temperature climbed to a springlike 60 degrees in parts of Maine.

The weather provided a taste of spring Friday with the temperature easing past 60 degrees in Portland. But it’ll be a different story on Saturday, with colder temperatures and 3 to 6 inches of snow to the north.

Mike Cempa from the National Weather Service said the temperature last hit 60 degrees in Portland back on Nov. 25. Cempa said that day of warmth also was followed by snow the next day.
