Cumberland’s Sunflower Farm Creamery, which had a viral video hit last summer with its “Running of the Goats” YouTube video, is showing off some of the first baby goats born this spring on a live barn cam.

According to Hope Hall, the farm’s owner, 16 of the farm’s goats were pregnant this season, with due dates extending into mid-May. The farm’s website includes a schedule of due dates at www.sunflowerfarm.info/kidding-schedule.

Hall said that the camera will move around the barn periodically to capture the births as well as images of the newborn goats as they and their mothers recover in a separate pen.

The farm hopes that the barn camera will be a successful sequel to its viral video posted last summer. “The Running of the Goats at Sunflower Farm,” a short clip that shows baby goats running out of and back into a barn, has been viewed more than 3.7 million times since it was first posted on June 3, 2014.
