Donovan Connor and Boden Beveridge combined for six goals and six assists Saturday to lead Kennebunk to a 13-9 victory against Cheverus in a schoolboy lacrosse game.

The Rams (4-3) opened a 10-3 halftime lead and held off the Stags (2-5).

Pat Gassman added a goal and a pair of assists for Kennebunk.

Tom Lawson led Cheverus with four goals, Max Coffin had two, and James Kane added a goal and two assists.

Colby Benway and Shawn Walsh of the Stags combined for 10 saves.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 15, MT. BLUE 2: Ryan Caracciolo and Corey Thibodeau combined for 10 goals and five assists as the Raiders (2-5) cruised past the Cougars (1-6) at Farmington.

Fryeburg, which held a 24-7 advantage in shots on goal, took a 5-1 halftime lead.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8, GARDINER 7: Trevor Lachance scored his fourth goal of the game in the opening seconds of the fourth period, giving the Panthers (3-4) an 8-6 lead against Gardiner (6-2) at Yarmouth.

Lachance also had an assist. Ben Ambrose added two goals, and Jake Rasch had a goal and two assists for NYA. Josh Caldwell scored three goals for the Tigers.

GREELY 9, MESSALONSKEE 6: Tim Adams scored three goals for the Rangers (5-2), who pulled away in the second half to defeat the Eagles (5-3) at Cumberland.

Dylan Trelegan had a pair of goals for Greely, and Alex Kroot, Gabe Belisle, Mitchell Mullin and Alex Wetmore also scored.

GORHAM 18, FREEPORT 1: Alex York and Mike Susi teamed up for eight goals and five assists as the Rams (7-0) rolled by the Falcons (4-4) at Freeport.

Tristan Brunet also had four goals and a pair of assists for Gorham.

THORNTON ACADEMY 15, WAYNFLETE 9: Zach Bryant had three goals and five assists, and Isaac Sinclair added two goals and five assists to lead Thornton (5-2) over the Flyers (5-2) at Portland.

Jon Camire added three goals and Cameron Cadorette two for the Trojans. Ford Malter had four goals and three assists for Waynflete. Joe Connors added a pair of goals, and Willy Burdick contributed a goal and three assists.

MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 14, DEERING 7: Denver Cram had five goals and three assists as the Black Bears (7-1) beat the Rams (2-5) at Portland.

Ty Smith added four goals and an assist for Maranacook/Winthrop.

BIDDEFORD 3, CHEVERUS 2: Kerry Crepeau shot an RBI triple down the right-field line and scored on a wild pitch as the Tigers (2-7) opened a 3-0 first-inning lead against Cheverus (6-3) at Biddeford.

Casey Twomey doubled and scored on Crepeau’s triple. Brady Crepeau’s home run capped the rally.

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, THORNTON ACADEMY 4: Sam Troiano and Jacob Brown each had two-run singles in the second inning as the Red Riots (8-1) scored four runs to pull away and defeat the Golden Trojans (7-3) at Saco.

All 22 hits in the game were singles: Brown went 4 for 5 with five RBI for South Portland, and Troiano was 3 for 5 with a pair of RBI.
