Author Brenda Bowen will talk about her first novel “Enchanted August,” a re-imagining of Elizabeth von Arnim’s “The Enchanted April.” Set on a on a tiny Maine Island, the book tells the story of four unhappy, mismatched people who discover that friends, love and a change of scenery can provide needed redirection.
