The outbound lanes of Congress Street are back open following a Friday morning car accident, but traffic is being detoured from Skyway Drive.
The accident near the intersection of Congress Street and Skyway Drive was reported around 11 a.m. Friday. Traffic will be detoured around Skyway Drive while debris is cleared from the road and the cars involved in the accident are towed away, according to police.
Skyway Drive could be closed until after 12:30 p.m. as the scene is cleared.
Initial reports indicated there were possible injuries, but additional information is not yet available, according to police.
