Cumberland police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a young man who stole a white Ford Econoline van.
The van, which was stolen Aug. 15 from a home on Blanchard Road, was recovered in Portland on Friday, but police have surveillance video that might help them identify a suspect.
Police said the thief was wearing a white hoodie with “TapOut” style printing on the chest, back and hood. Any information concerning him can be messaged to Cumberland police on their Facebook page or via text message “UCANTIP plus your message” to 274637 (CRIMES).
