CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, provide a variety of free services and workshops to help with job searches and to upgrade skills. Each of the 12 centers provides computer workstations and offers several employment-related programs throughout the month. Maine Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Standards holds free safety courses for employers at various locations during April.
