Portland’s 34th annual Thanksgiving Day 4-miler drew hundreds of runners downtown early Thursday morning.
Andrew Bennison of Portland, Oregon, won the race, while Kim Smith of Providence, Rhode Island, won the women’s division.
A portion of the proceeds from the annual even benefit the St. Patrick’s Secondary School in Iten, Kenya, the University of Southern Maine women’s track team, the Rafiki Foundation, Portland Trails, and Partners for World Health.
