Tim Yeaton scored a basket with six seconds left to lead Seacoast Christian to a 52-51 win over Vinalhaven in a Class D South boys’ basketball quarterfinal Saturday at the Augusta Civic Center.

Yeaton scored 18 points for third-seeded Seacoast Christian (13-6), which advances to a 10 a.m. semifinal Wednesday in Augusta.

Cody Hamilton scored 18 points for No. 6 Vinalhaven (11-8).

GREENVILLE 70, A.R. GOULD 28: Nick Foley scored 23 points – 17 in the first half – and fifth-seeded Greenville (10-9) rolled to a win over the Bears (14-5) in a Class D South quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center.

Connor DiAngelo added 17 points and Tim White scored 12 for the Lakers.

Tyrese Collins led A.R. Gould with 13 points.

VALLEY 62, RANGELEY 33: Cody Lawyerson powered the offense with 23 points as the top-seeded Cavaliers (18-0) cruised past the eighth-seeded Lakers (8-12) in a Class D South quarterfinal in Augusta.

Collin Miller added 11 points for Valley.

Kyle LaRochelle was the leading scorer for Rangeley with 10 points.

BREWER 50, GARDINER 34: Matt Pushard scored 19 points as the second-seeded Witches (15-4) beat the seventh-seeded Tigers (8-12) in a Class A North quarterfinal in Augusta.

Connor McGuire led Gardiner with 10 points.

ELLSWORTH 56, MCI 28: The second-seeded Eagles (15-4) outscored MCI 22-2 in the second quarter on its way to a win over the No. 10 Huskies (8-12) in a Class B North quarterfinal in Bangor.

Bruce St. Peter had 15 points to lead Ellsworth. Nick Bagley added 13.

Josh Buker paced MCI with 13 points.

ORONO 61, MDI 50: The fourth-seeded Red Riots (15-4) used a 15-6 run in the third quarter to take control against the fifth-seeded Trojans (15-5) in a Class B North quarterfinal in Bangor.

Imao Woldring scored 13 points, and Keenan Collett and Jake Koffman each added 11 for Orono, which trailed 29-27 at halftime.

Riley Swanson led MDI with 11 points.

OLD TOWN 83, BELFAST 47: Andre Miller and Kaleb Gifford combined for 43 points as the top-seeded Coyotes (16-3) rolled past the eighth-seeded Lions (9-11) in a Class B North quarterfinal at Bangor.

Miller scored 23 points and Gifford finished with 20. Drew Coulombe added 15.

Nolan Woods led Belfast with 20 points.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

VALLEY 31, FOREST HILLS 22: The seventh-seeded Cavaliers (9-10) used a balanced offense to upend the second-seeded Tigers (14-5) in a Class D South quarterfinal at Augusta.

Dalayne Davis led Valley with nine points. Caitlin Logston had 12 points for Forest Hills, which was outscored 20-6 in the second half.

WINSLOW 51, ELLSWORTH 44: Heather Kervin scored 14 points and the fourth-seeded Black Raiders (16-3) outlasted the fifth-seeded Eagles (12-8) in a Class B North quarterfinal in Bangor.

Paige Trask added 10 points for Winslow.

Madison Card led Ellsworth with 18 points.

HOULTON 61, FOXCROFT ACADEMY 52: Kolleen Bouchard scored 23 points to lead the top-seeded Shiretowners (18-1) past the eighth-seeded Ponies (11-9) in a Class B North quarterfinal in Bangor.

Aspen Flewelling added 13 points for Houlton.

Foxcroft was paced by Kendra Ewer, who scored 15 points on five 3-pointers.

KENNEBUNK 3, YORK 2: James Ross scored the equalizer with 1:08 left in the third period and Bo Beveridge got the winner in overtime as the Rams (8-8-1) clinched a Class B South playoff berth with a win over the Wildcats (10-7) at Alfond Forum.

Thomas Carr and Mark Engholm scored power-play goals in the final three minutes of the first period to give York a 2-0 lead.

Kennebunk cut the deficit to 2-1 when Patrick Gassman scored a power-play goal with 4:48 left in regulation.

Spencer Desrochers came into the game at the start of the second period and stopped all 13 shots he faced to earn the win.

Donovan Connor assisted on all three Kennebunk goals.

YARMOUTH 4, GREELY 3: William Jacobs’ second goal of the game – on a power play with 2:50 remaining – capped a third-period comeback as the Clippers (14-3) beat the Rangers (5-12) in Yarmouth.

Greely, needing a win over the top-ranked Clippers to keep its Class B South playoff hopes alive, led 3-1 after a goal by Nathan Gervais four minutes into the third period. But Cooper May answered at 5:40 and Patrick Grant tied it with 6:56 left.

Colby Williams and Ryan Megathlin also scored for Greely.

CHEVERUS 4, SOUTH PORTLAND/FREEPORT/WAYNFLETE 1: Sean Walsh scored an early goal and assisted on Cam Dube’s goal later in the first period, and the Stags (7-8-1) beat the Red Riots (5-9-2) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Tyler Goldberg put South Portland on the board early in the second period, but Jesse Cyr-Brophy answered 4:05 later. Kieran Conley added a third-period goal.

NOBLE/WELLS 3, WINDHAM/WESTBROOK 1: Evan Whitten broke a 1-1 tie 3:36 into the third period, lifting the Knights (8-8) over the Eagles (12-5) in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Ethan Marsh added an insurance goal.

Windham/Westbrook took a 1-0 lead 4:25 into the game on a goal by Tyler Johnson. Nate DeWolf tied it late in the first period.

EDWARD LITTLE 6, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE 3: Colby Bilodeau and Liam Benson each scored twice for the Red Eddies (9-8) in a win over the Eagles (9-6-1) at Norway Savings Bank Arena.

Tyler Halls had two goals and Noah Austin added a goal and an assist for the Eagles.
