Kaeli Leddy scored three goals, including the winner in the final minutes, as McAuley defeated Noble 8-7 in a schoolgirl lacrosse game Thursday.

Elizabeth Poulin added two goals, and Catherine Reid, Maggie Murray and Zoe Mazur also scored for McAuley (1-1).

Kerri Fleming and Meg Bataran had two goals each, and Britt Brown, Summer Smith and Delainy Blaisdell also scored for Noble (0-1).

SCARBOROUGH 21, PORTLAND 15: Emma Smith scored eight goals and Abby Corbin added five to lead the Red Storm (2-0) past the Bulldogs (0-1) at Scarborough.

Merritt Ryan scored seven goals and Isabel Stehli had four for Portland.

WINDHAM 10, CHEVERUS 8: Hannah Skvorak scored four goals to lead the Eagles in an opener at Windham.

FREEPORT 15, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 7: Chloe Davidson scored three goals to help the Falcons (1-1) defeat the Raiders (0-2) at Freeport.

GORHAM 9, SOUTH PORTLAND 5: Marina Pappalardo scored five goals and Mary Cronin added two as the Rams (1-0) downed the Red Riots (0-2) at South Portland.

MORSE 7, OCEANSIDE 5: The Shipbuilders pulled away in the second half of an opener at Bath.

Madison Olsen, Isabelle Paulus and Amanda Gagne each scored twice for Morse, which broke away from a 3-3 halftime tie, and Sophie Wilson finished with five saves.

Abigail Lacasse and Sierra Beal each scored twice, and Samantha Berry had five saves for the Mariners.

FALMOUTH 17, WAYNFLETE 6: Olivia Stucker and Sydney Bell scored seven goals each, and Devon Sarazin added three to lead the Yachtsmen (2-0) past the Flyers (1-1) at Falmouth.

Christian Rowe led Waynflete with two goals and an assist.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

CHEVERUS 8, DEERING 6: Frank Curran and Max Coffin finished with two goals and one assist apiece for the visiting Stags (1-1), who held off the Rams (0-2) at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

The Stags built a 5-2 halftime lead but Deering cut the deficit to 7-6. Curran then scored with 3:09 remaining.

Bryce Randall and Nick James each scored twice for the Rams.

WELLS 16, NOBLE 8: Ethan Marsh scored nine goals as the Warriors (2-0) downed the Knights (0-4) at Wells.

Evan Whitten added four goals and Chad Fitzpatrick scored three for Wells.

Matthew Burnham had three goals, and Jacob Ricker and Logan Pomerleau added two each for the Knights.

BRUNSWICK 8, LEWISTON 6: Aiden Glover had two goals and two assists, and Logan Ouellette made 12 saves for the Dragons (3-0), who held the Blue Devils (2-1) scoreless in the fourth quarter at Brunswick.

Christian Glover added two goals and one assist, and Max Gramins and Andrew Eno each scored twice for the Dragons, who led 7-6 after the third quarter.

Griffin Wade finished with two goals and two assists, and Bryan Wagg had 10 saves for the Blue Devils.

SOFTBALL

KENNEBUNK 21, LAKE REGION 10: Lindsey Gregoire’s fourth-inning grand slam helped the Rams (1-3) beat the Lakers (1-2) at Naples.

Brittney Gregoire went 4 for 5 with a double and three RBI, and Kylie DeFeo added a triple for Kennebunk.

Jackie Morse went 4 for 4, and Kaylyn Lorrain had two doubles and drove in five runs for Lake Region.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, YARMOUTH 3: Chloe Coen’s RBI single capped a four-run seventh inning and the Raiders (2-1) held off the Clippers (1-1) at Yarmouth.

Alexis L’Heureux-Carland added a sacrifice fly during the four-run seventh inning for the Raiders and finished with three hits.

The Clippers scored a run in the bottom of the seventh and had the bases loaded before the Raiders got the final out.

Mari Cooper and Cayte Tillotson had two hits apiece for Yarmouth.

BASEBALL

WINDHAM 2, MASSABESIC 0: Zach Skillings pitched a three-hitter and hit a two-out, two-run single in the first inning to lift the Eagles (3-2) over the Mustangs (1-2) at Windham.

Skillings struck out five with no walks.

Cam McCartney and Tim Greenlaw had two singles apiece for the Eagles.

Adam DeAngelis hit a double for Massabesic.

YARMOUTH 9, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Luke Klenda took a perfect game through 52/3 innings and finished with a one-hitter to lead the Clippers (3-0) over the Raiders (0-4) at Yarmouth.

Klenda also hit an RBI single in the third. Jack Snyder drove in two runs.

BONNY EAGLE 2, NOBLE 0: Troy Bogdahn pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Scots (3-1) beat the Knights (0-4) at North Berwick.

The Scots scored on a two-out single by Kyle Labrecque in the second inning and on an error in the fifth.

SOUTH PORTLAND 5, WESTBROOK 0: Griffin Kelley finished with six strikeouts and no walks while throwing a three-hitter for the Red Riots (3-0) against the Blue Blazes (0-2) at Westbrook.

Sam Troiano had a pair of hits, drove in a run and stole three bases for South Portland, which scored four runs over the first three innings.

SCARBOROUGH 4, MARSHWOOD 2: Late errors played a big role in a seventh-inning comeback victory for the Red Storm (3-0) against the Hawks (2-2) at South Berwick.

Marshwood made two errors in the final inning, allowing John Timpson to score the go-ahead run. A bases-loaded walk brought home the final run.

PORTLAND 14, GORHAM 8: Nick Archambault hit a bases-clearing triple to highlight a six-run fifth inning as the Bulldogs (3-0) defeated the Rams (0-2) at Portland.

Dan Marzilli picked up the victory, allowing 12 hits and striking out two in six innings. Joe Fusco finished with three hits and three RBI.

WAYNFLETE SWEEPS GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN: Huge fourth innings in both games helped the Flyers (2-2) sweep the Lions (0-2) in Portland, 13-3, 18-5.

In the opener, Ben Mallon had three hits and three runs for the Flyers, who scored nine times in the fourth.

In the second game, Waynflete trailed 5-4 before scoring 14 runs in the fourth.

DEERING 2, BIDDEFORD 1: Nathan Loranger’s walk-off single lifted the Rams (2-1) over the Tigers (0-3) at Portland.

Trailing 1-0, Deering tied it on a single by Riley Bartell in the seventh, followed by Loranger’s winner.
