Erica Jesseman of Scarborough again proved unbeatable at the Portland Sea Dogs Mother’s Day 5K, winning the women’s division for the fifth straight year, and Chris Harmon of Portland was the overall winner in the 16th edition of the race, which had 1,589 finishers.

Harmon, 28, finished in 16 minutes, 18 seconds, well ahead of runner-up Claton Conrad, 33, of Portland (16:59). Nate Priest, 33, of Gray was third in 17:01.

Jesseman, 27, didn’t threaten her course record of 16:42, but her time of 17:12 was more than a minute and a half faster than the next closest woman. Christine Hein, 41, of North Yarmouth (18:48) and Marah Borgman, 31, of Portland (19:22) rounded out the top three.
