RICHMOND, Va. — The Portland Sea Dogs scored four times in the fifth inning and three times in the sixth to beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 9-5 in an Eastern League baseball game Sunday.

Portland (25-43) trailed 3-1 after four. Andrew Benintendi got the Sea Dogs within a run with a sacrifice fly and then Sean Coyle scored on a wild pitch to tie it. Aneury Tavarez and Tim Roberson tacked on RBI singles to give Portland a 5-3 lead.

Richmond (26-43) got a run back in the bottom of the fifth before Portland added three in the sixth, including a two-run single by Cody Decker.

Ryan Court had three hits and an RBI for Portland. Tavarez drove in a pair of runs. Portland finished with 14 hits.

Teddy Stankiewicz earned his first road win of the season, allowing four runs on five hits in five innings. He struck out four and walked two.

The Sea Dogs went 4-2 on their road trip and won 5 of 6 games against Richmond. They are off Monday before returning to Hadlock Field for a six-game homestand. Portland plays Harrisburg at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

NOTES: The Red Sox promoted top prospect Yoan Moncada to the Sea Dogs, according to a tweet from the Salem Red Sox.

Moncada, a second baseman, was promoted from Class A Salem along with pitchers Jalen Beeks and Ben Taylor.

In 61 games with Salem this season, Moncada is batting .307 with 70 hits, 34 RBI and 57 runs scored. He also has 36 stolen bases, 25 doubles, three triples and four home runs.

The Red Sox signed Moncada to a $31.5 million bonus in March 2015.
