CLINTON, N.Y. — Kenny Gray rushed 5 yards for a touchdown with 34 seconds left Saturday to give Hamilton a 26-25 victory against Bowdoin in a New England Small College Athletic Conference football game.

After Hamilton (1-3, 1-3) took a 7-0 lead after two minutes, the Polar Bears tied it on a 55-yard interception return by Cameron Rondeau.

Andrew Sisti drilled a 36-yard field goal to give Bowdoin a 10-7 lead, and the Polar Bears extended it to 16-7 less than two minutes into the second quarter when Noah Nelson passed 18 yards to Joe Schmidt.

Bowdoin took the lead into halftime, but Hamilton scored 14 unanswered points to take a 17-16 lead with 11:29 left in the game.

Sisti and Hamilton kicker Robert Morris traded 39-yard field goals before Bowdoin took a 25-20 lead with 3:01 left on a 49-yard pass from Nelson to Liam Ford. The Polar Bears tried for a 2-point conversion but Nelson’s pass was intercepted.

AMHERST 41, COLBY 0: Nick Morales went 23 of 34 for 323 yards and three touchdowns as the Purple & White (3-1, 3-1 NESCAC) cruised past the Mules (1-3, 1-3) at Amherst, Massachusetts.

Bo Berluti had seven catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns, and Jack Hickey rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on nine carries for Amherst, which led 20-0 at halftime.

WESLEYAN 28, BATES 7: Devon Carillo ran for two touchdowns as the Cardinals (3-1, 3-1 NESCAC) beat the Bobcats (1-3, 1-3) at Lewiston.

Sean Peterson passed 30 yards to Sandy Plashkes for Bates’ TD with 7:58 remaining in the third quarter.

HUSSON 43, CASTLETON STATE 21: John Smith ran for 198 yards and the Eagles (5-1, 3-0 Eastern Collegiate) allowed 88 total yards as they defeated the Spartans (2-4, 2-1) at Castleton, Vermont.

With the score 14-14 in the second quarter, the Eagles took control with 22 unanswered points with scores on a kickoff return, safety, touchdown pass and an interception return.

ENDICOTT 35, MAINE MARITIME ACADEMY 14: Joe Kalosky threw three touchdown passes and the Gulls (3-3, 3-0 New England Football) totaled 464 yards to defeat the Mariners (1-4, 0-3) at Castine.

Cory Creeger led the Mariners with 195 yards passing and 95 yards rushing, including a 2-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
