GORHAM — Emma Forgues scored twice, and Hallie Shiers added a goal and an assist Tuesday night to lead Gorham to a 3-1 victory against Marshwood in an SMAA girls’ soccer game.

Forgues opened the scoring after 15 minutes for Gorham (12-0-1). Shiers won the ball in the middle, dribbled and passed across the goal for Forgues’ one-touch to the far post.

Shiers upped the lead to 2-0 five minutes later before Casey Perry headed home the rebound of a direct kick to pull the Hawks (10-2-1) within 2-1 with five minutes left in the half.

Forgues scored from Tiril Wiig midway through the second half to make it 3-1.

Emma Smith finished with nine saves for Gorham. Nathalie Clavette had 11 for Marshwood.

SCARBOROUGH 2, WINDHAM 0: Gaby Panagakos scored a pair of goals to lift the Red Storm (10-2-2) over the Eagles (9-2-3) at Windham.

Panagakos opened the scoring from Leah Dickman midway through the first half and added a goal late in the second from Ashley Perriello.

Emily Royce made six saves to record the shutout. Kaitlyn Roberts finished with nine saves for the Eagles.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 1, PINE TREE ACADEMY 0: Courtney Spaulding scored and Clairette Kirezi recorded a shutout as the Lions (4-7-2) edged Pine Tree Academy (1-7-1) at South Portland.

Spaulding scored after 25 minutes, lining a free kick into the net.

BONNY EAGLE 4, MASSABESIC 1: Cassidy Koons collected a pair of assists for the Scots (7-6-1), who had four players score against the Mustangs (2-12) at Standish.

Kayley Rumery, Sarah Champagne and Emily Byrne scored first-half goals, and Nell Spencer added another in the second half for Bonny Eagle.

Skylar Renaud of the Mustangs cut the deficit to 3-1 with 19 minutes left in the first half.

Haileigh Cusson finished with 16 saves for Massabesic. Sidney Gillingham had three for the Scots.

CHEVERUS 4, MAINE GIRLS ACADEMY 0: Emma Gallant had a goal and an assist as the visiting Stags (10-3-1) cruised past the Lions (3-10-1) at Portland.

Katie Gordon, Lauren Jordan and Kenzie Johnston added goals for Cheverus, which led 2-0 at halftime. Carly Beaulieu made 17 saves for the Lions.

FALMOUTH 4, YORK 1: Cali Wiberg opened and closed the scoring as Falmouth (10-4) pulled away from the Wildcats (7-3-4) at York.

After Wiberg gave the Yachtsmen a lead after 1:30, Lauren Wendland and Delaney Goodell followed with goals for a 3-0 lead by the 10-minute mark. Halee Bando narrowed the margin to 3-1 just before the half, but Wiberg countered 20 minutes into the second half.

Adelaide Cooke finished with six saves for Falmouth. Anna Baker had 10 saves for the Wildcats.

THORNTON ACADEMY 4, BIDDEFORD 0: Hannah Niles scored two first-half goals as the Trojans (8-6) defeated the Tigers (0-14) at Saco.

Thornton led 2-0 at halftime and extended its lead to 3-0 on a goal by Hannah McAlary from Natalia Profenno early in the second half. Mia Taranko completed the scoring from Alyanna Beaudoin.

Liz Bell and Sarah Couture each added assists, while Abby Cook and Dana Sirois combined for three saves for the shutout. Jillian Lewis made 14 saves for Biddeford.

MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 2, MEDOMAK VALLEY 1: Maile Halferty scored with less than 30 seconds remaining to lift the Huskies (6-8-1) over Medomak Valley (5-10) at Pittsfield.

CAPE ELIZABETH 1, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Prezli Piscopo scored from Grace Gillian in the first half and the Capers (7-5-2) held off the Patriots (6-8) at Gray.

Allison Ingalls made nine saves to record the shutout. Chelsea Davis finished with six saves for the Patriots.

VOLLEYBALL

GORHAM 3, GARDINER 0: The Rams (9-5) downed the Tigers (4-10) in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-13 in a regular-season finale at Gorham.

WINDHAM 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Jamie Jannarone had 10 kills, 15 aces and 10 aces as the Eagles (7-7) beat the Scots (10-4) in four sets at Windham.

The Eagles won, 25-23, 22-25, 25-16 and 25-22.

GREELY 3, PORTLAND 0: Kayley Cimino had 14 aces, 11 kills, seven assists and five digs, and Molly Chapin collected two aces, five kills and 10 digs to lead the Rangers (14-0) past the Bulldogs (5-9) at Cumberland.

Morgan Selby added one ace, seven kills, 12 assists and six digs for the Rangers, who won by set scores of 25-16, 25-9 and 25-5.

FALMOUTH 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Alston Armstrong and Madison Tait finished with six kills and two aces apiece, and Tait also had 14 digs to lead Falmouth (11-3) over the Red Riots (5-9) at South Portland.

Alison Noyes added five kills and three blocks for Falmouth, which won the first two sets 25-12 and 25-22. Falmouth won the fourth set 25-18 to close out the match after losing 25-16 in the second set.
