WELLS — Skye Conley had 10 of game-high 13 points in the second quarter as Gray-New Gloucester surged ahead, and the Patriots went on to a 39-29 victory over Wells in a girls’ basketball game on Thursday night.

The Patriots’ 14-3 run in the second quarter gave them a 21-14 halftime lead.

Brianna Jordan added 12 points for Gray-New Gloucester, which improved to 10-0.

Natalie Thurber paced Wells (6-3) with nine points.

WINDHAM 44, MASSABESIC 39: Mya Manette scored 10 points during the fourth quarter, helping Windham (3-6) rally past the Mustangs (0-9) at Waterboro.

Meghan Hoffses added eight points in the fourth, including two 3-pointers, as the Eagles outscored Massabesic 25-6.

Massabesic had held the Eagles to single digits in each of the first three quarters to build a 33-19 lead.

Manette finished with 14 points, Hoffses 13 and Tara Flanders 12 for Windham. Kenzy Ouellette’s 13 points led the Mustangs.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 46, ISLESBORO 27: Megan Smith scored 15 points, hitting three 3-pointers, and the Lions (1-3) used a 16-6 advantage in the third quarter to get by the Eagles (0-5) in South Portland.

Aubrey Viekman added 12 points for the Lions, who led 35-18 going into the fourth quarter. Emily Lau scored a game-high 18 points for Islesboro.

KENNEBUNK 44, TRAIP 26: Jessica Dupler came off the bench to score seven first-half points and Gabby Fogg added six as Kennebunk (6-5) opened a 20-9 lead over the Rangers (3-6) in Kittery.

Fogg finished with 15 points and Dupler scored 11.

Traip’s Marina Casey had 14 points.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 37, SACOPEE VALLEY 25: Nicole Bennett had 12 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Raiders (6-4) to a victory against Sacopee Valley (2-7) at Fryeburg.

Fryeburg took an 8-2 lead in the first quarter and steadily stretched it to as many as 20 points during the second half.

Helen Ruhlin scored 11 points for the Hawks.

YORK 44, FALMOUTH 38: Nina Howe had six points in the fourth quarter as the Wildcats (7-3) used a 14-10 run to hold off the Yachtsmen (5-5) at York.

Howe finished with a game-high 12 points for York. Maddie Cogger had three 3-pointers to contribute nine points, while Reilly Smedley tossed in eight.

Hadley Wiggin had nine points to lead for Falmouth.

BRUNSWICK 61, MORSE 27: Brooke Barter scored 13 of her game-high 19 points in the second quarter, and the Dragons (9-2) cruised past the Shipbuilders (4-7) in Bath.

Brunswick used a 38-5 run in the second and third quarters to take a 49-19 lead.

Barter added five rebounds and four steals, while Charlotte MacMillan chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Marissa Parks and Noa Sreden each scored seven points for Morse.

BOOTHBAY 56, OAK HILL 29: Page Brown’s 27 points led the Seahawks (11-0) as they dominated Oak Hill (6-4) at Boothbay Harbor.

Boothbay outscored the Raiders 21-2 during the first quarter, and stretched the lead to 36-8 by the half.

Sydney Meader added 11 points for the Seahawks.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 62, HYDE 32: Madison Argitis scored all six of her points in the second quarter as the Panthers (5-4) used a 25-6 run to take control against the Phoenix (2-5) at Yarmouth.

Maggie Larson had 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead NYA, while Sydney Plummer tossed in 16 points and Katie Larson added 12.

Timesha Walker led Hyde with 20 points.

LEWISTON 51, MT. ARARAT 27: Victoria Harris tossed in nine points as Lewiston (5-5) took a 17-4 lead in the opening quarter, and the Blue Devils maintained a comfortable lead in a win over the Eagles (2-8) at Topsham.

Harris finished with 14 points. Nicole Bradstreet sank three 3-pointers on the way to 13 points for Mt. Ararat.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 74, DIRIGO 27: Ashley White had 21 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead the Falcons (7-2) past the Cougars (3-7) at Dixfield.

Ashley Russell had 20 points for Mountain Valley, including a pair of 3-pointers.

WINTHROP 52, WISCASSET 16: The Ramblers (4-4) used a 19-2 second-quarter run to open a 26-9 halftime lead against Wolverines (1-10) at Winthrop

Kena Souza led Winthrop with 12 points and Aaliyah Wilson-Falcone added 11. Hayhlee Craig led Wiscasset with seven points.

MARSHWOOD 51, NOBLE 34: Natalie Herbold paced the Hawks with 10 points, going 5 of 6 from the line as Marshwood (9-1) used a 17-10 advantage in the third quarter to pull away from the Knights (0-9) at North Berwick.

Noelle Barrett and Miranda Montgomery each chipped eight points for Marshwood,

Amy Fleming led Noble with 17 points, including three 3-pointers.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 55, CAMDEN HILLS 31: Brie Wajer and Cagney O’Brien combined for 22 first-half points as the host Eagles (5-4) opened a 28-14 lead and easily handled the Windjammers (4-5) at Newcastle.

O’Brien finished with a game-high 21 points for Lincoln Academy, while Wajer tossed in 15.

Kassie Krul led the way for Camden Hills with eight points.

POLAND 44, CAPE ELIZABETH 32: Jessica Seeley scored 11 points and Sarah Moody had 10 for the Knights (6-3), who used a 16-3 edge in the third quarter to beat the Capers (0-9) at Cape Elizabeth.

Poland led 25-6 at halftime.

Erin O’Sullivan scored 12 points to lead Cape Elizabeth.

WINSLOW 88, MARANACOOK 19: Heather Kervin scored a game-high 28 points and Paige Trask added 15 to lead the Raiders in a KVAC B game in Readfield.

Silver Clukey scored eight points and Grace Smith had five points and eight rebounds for Winslow (7-1) as well.

Grace Depres scored 11 points to lead the Black Bears (0-9).

WATERVILLE 44, MCI 39: Trailing 30-26 after three quarters, the Purple Panthers outscored the Huskies 18-9 in the final period en route to the win in Waterville.

Jordan Jabar led the offense with 22 points and also grabbed 14 rebounds for Waterville (6-3), while Sadie Garling added nine points, all in the fourth quarter.

MCI (6-4) was led by April McAlpine with 11 points and Deangeliz Urena and Sydney Morton with 10 apiece.

FOREST HILLS 38, VALLEY 33: Caitlin Logston scored 22 points to lead the Tigers to an East/West win over the Cavaliers in Jackman.

Madison Cuddy chipped in five points for Forest Hills (5-5).

Kendra Sweet led the Cavaliers (1-8) with 11 points.

GARDINER 48, CONY 31: Logan Granholm scored 12 points and had seven rebounds to lead the Gardiner over visiting Cony.

Leslie Stevens scored 13 points for the Tigers (7-2). Lauren Chadwick added nine points, while Leah Weymouth scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds.

The Rams (0-9) were led by Allie Cloutier, who scored seven points. Mackenzie Lewis added six points.

WINTHROP 52, WISCASSET 16: Kena Souza scored 12 points to lift the host Ramblers to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Aaliyah Wilson-Falcone added 11 points for Winthrop (4-4). Hayhlee Craig led Wiscasset (1-10) with seven points.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 56, HALL-DALE 22: Abbey Allen scored 12 points to spark the Mustangs to the MVC win in Monmouth.

Tia Day added 11 points for Monmouoth (9-2) while Kaeit Butterfield chipped in seven.
