ORONO — Patrick Holway scored a pair of goals as Maine beat Vermont 6-2 in a Hockey East game Saturday at Alfond Arena.

Rob Michael, Tim Doherty and Nolan Vesey also scored for Maine (6-7-2, 4-4-1 Hockey East), which got three straight goals after falling behind 1-0.

Vesey and Holway each added an assist.

Brian Bowen and Craig Puffer scored power-play goals for Vermont (4-10-2, 1-6-2).

Jeremy Swayman made 39 saves for Maine, while Stefanos Lekkas had 28 saves for Vermont.

SOUTHERN MAINE 3, ST. ANSELM 3: Cody Braga scored the tying goal with 44 seconds left in regulation as USM (1-7-3) earned a tie against St. Anselm (5-5-1) at Gorham.

Parker Sanderson scored a pair of power-play goals for Southern Maine in the second period, sandwiched around goals for St. Anselm from Alec Andreucci and Matt Chisholm. Andreucci gave the Hawks the lead with 1:42 to go in regulation.

COLBY 6, BOWDOIN 1: Kienan Scott and Nick O’Connor each had a goal and an assist for the Mules (4-2, 3-1 NESCAC) against the Polar Bears (2-5, 1-3) at Brunswick.

Bradley Ingersoll scored for Bowdoin.

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 5, SUFFOLK 5: Tommy Bishop tied it with 46 seconds to go in regulation on a power play for Suffolk (5-5-1, 2-5-1 Commonwealth Coast), which tied the Nor’easters (5-3-2, 3-3-2) at Charlestown, Massachusetts.

Andrew Slotnick had a pair of goals for UNE.

MAINE 2, VERMONT 0: Carly Jackson stopped all 17 shots she faced to record her second shutout of the season as the Black Bears (11-6-2, 5-3-1 Hockey East) beat the Catamounts (5-11-2, 3-7-1) in Orono.

Tereza Vanisova had a goal and an assist, and Anna Zikova added a goal.

SOUTHERN MAINE 1, POST 0: Shannon Colbert scored a power-play goal with an assist from Meghan Concannon with 3:11 left in the first period, and the Huskies (3-6-0) beat the Eagles (1-8-2) in Gorham.

Whitney Padgett made 14 saves for USM.

UNE 3, ST. MICHAEL’S 1: Annie Mullen scored a pair of goals as the Nor’easters (4-2-4) opened a 3-0 lead and cruised past the Purple Knights (2-10-0) in a nonconference game at South Burlington, Vermont.

Jessica Tolzman also scored for UNE.

BOWDOIN 3, ST. ANSELM 2: The Polar Bears (3-0-1) scored twice in the third period to beat the Hawks (9-1-0) in a nonconference game in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Maureen Gleason and Tala Glass scored in the third period for Bowdoin. Brooke Solomon scored in the second.

HAMILTON 4, COLBY 0: Michaela Giuttari, Andrea Rockey and Missy Segall each had a goal and an assist as the Continentals (4-2, 4-0 NESCAC) beat the Mules (1-4-1, 0-3-1) in Clinton, New York.

SOUTHERN MAINE 86, WESTERN CONNECTICUT STATE 67: Kristen Curley scored 29 points off the bench and Chantel Eells had 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Huskies (1-6, 1-0 LEC) rolled past the Colonials (3-2, 0-1) in Danbury, Connecticut.

SOUTHERN MAINE CC 83, UMAINE-MACHIAS 62: Jordan Farquharson scored 24 points as the Seawolves (7-3) beat the Clippers (4-5) in Machias.

Abigail Ramirez added 18 points and Alicia Ruth had 16 for SMCC.

ST. JOSEPH’S 69, EMMANUEL 55: Kelsi McNamara scored 15 of her 23 points in the first half, and Julia Champagne had 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Monks (6-1, 1-0 GNAC) beat the Saints (1-4, 0-1) in Boston.

Hannah Marks added 12 points for St. Joseph’s.

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 52, ROGER WILLIAMS 43: Elyssa Nichols scored 13 points off the bench, all in the fourth quarter, as the Nor’easters (6-1, 2-0 CCC) rallied to beat the Seahawks (5-2, 1-1) in Biddeford.

Sam MacDonald added 12 points for the Nor’easters.

FORDHAM 67, MAINE 66: Joseph Chartouny scored 21 points and tied his career high with 11 rebounds, and the Rams (3-4) beat the Black Bears (1-7) in overtime in New York.

Aaron Calixte led the Black Bears with 20 points. Andrew Fleming and Ilker Er each had 15 points.

COLBY 89, BOWDOIN 84: Ethan Shlager led four Colby players in double figures with 19 points as the Mules (6-1) edged the Polar Bears (6-1) in a nonconference game in Waterville.

Hugh O’Neil finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Polar Bears.

SUFFOLK 68, ST. JOSEPH’S 56: Michael Hagopian scored 21 points and the Rams (1-4) beat the Monks (2-2) in Boston.
