On the Move


Dena Tufts-White joined Kennebunk Savings Bank as vice president, banking office manager of its Sanford and Springvale branches.

White, of Wells, has more than 20 years of banking experience, most recently as vice president and banking center manager for a York bank.

Jillian Kanter was hired at Broadreach Public Relations as a public relations executive assistant.

Most recently, Kanter was an intern at two public relations firms in the Boston area.

Stephen Crowley joined WEX as senior vice president, shared services, and chief information officer.

Crowley has more than 25 years of broad experience in information technology and client operations.

Prior to joining WEX, Crowley worked at Bank of America as senior vice president, mortgage and affiliate services strategy and execution.

Alfred Lamarre joined Sweetser as the human resources director.

Most recently, he was practicing as an employment attorney in the Greater Portland area.

Kathryn Caiazzo joined Maine Community Health Options as manager of care management.

Most recently, Caiazzo, of Westbrook, worked at Maine Medical Partners, MaineHealth Cardiology, where she managed state and federal quality programs. She has leadership experience as a clinical educator nurse leader at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Caiazzo has also led quality improvement efforts.

Sean Sullivan was hired as executive director of the Maine Brewers’ Guild.

Most recently, Sullivan served as president of Portland Greendrinks. The Maine Brewers’ Guild is a nonprofit industry group focused on promoting and protecting the Maine craft beer industry. There were 30 breweries by the end of 2012. At the end of this year, an estimated 40 breweries will call Maine home, according to a press release about the hire.

Brenda Neuts was hired as a group insurance service assistant at Norton Financial Services.

Neuts, of Yarmouth, previously worked at Kilbride & Harris Insurance Services as a group benefits and COBRA administrator. She has more than 25 years of insurance experience.

Heather Whiting joined the family law department of Drummond & Drummond, LLP, as an associate. Her practice includes divorce, adoption, guardian ad litem, mediation and probate matters.

Whiting previously worked for firms in Washington, D.C., and Portland.

Stephanie Green recently joined the commercial practice group of Curtis Thaxter LLC.

Green practices in the areas of commercial loan transactions, real estate and asset purchases, landlord and tenant disputes and corporate law. She is a graduate of Wheaton College and the University of Maine School of Law. She has practiced in the Portland area for the last three years.

Christopher Dana and Jeana Petillo were hired at Drummond Woodsum in Portland.

Dana joined the firm’s business and corporate services group. Most recently, he was a corporate associate at a major international firm, focusing on complex capital-raising transactions. He also was an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Petillo was a summer associate at the firm in 2012. She is a recent graduate of Connecticut School of Law, where she was editor for the Connecticut Law Review. She was also honored with the Pro Bono Certificate of Recognition from the UConn School of Law for volunteering more than 100 hours of legal services.


Mark Tipton was promoted to executive director of the Portland Conservatory of Music.

Tipton, of Portland, formerly was assistant director. He was an adjunct trumpet instructor at Colby College for four years.


Scott Simons Architects received an AIA NE Citation Award for design excellence for the renovation of the Portland Public Library.
