NEW FACES

• Leslie Durgin of South Portland joined North Yarmouth Academy as director of summer programs.

Durgin was previously the business and events manager at Rippleffect in Portland.

AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS

• Steven Chicoine of Keller Williams Realty Greater Portland announced that the Steven Chicoine Real Estate Team was awarded Triple Gold status at the recent Keller Williams Realty annual convention in Dallas.

This designation recognizes teams selling between 60 and 74 units in 2012.

Steven Chicoine was also named to the “30 Under 30” Class of 2012 by the editors of REALTOR Magazine.

• The Portland Water District was recently awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association.

The certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.

GENERAL

The Glenn Group joined the Portland wealth management office for Baird, an international wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm.

• The team includes Robert Glenn, vice president, and Chad Schuman, who have a combined 40 years of financial industry experience.

Glenn, of Harpswell, worked as an investment officer at A.G. Edwards in 1994, moving to Wachovia and Wells Fargo as a result of company mergers.

Schuman, of Brunswick, began in the financial services industry as an account representative at MetLife Financial Services of Maine. He then became an investment officer at A.G. Edwards, moving to Wachovia and Wells Fargo as a result of company mergers.
