• Craig DeForest and Andrew Greeley joined the board of directors at Mad Horse Theatre Company.
DeForest, of Portland, is the program director for Maine Campus Compact, a nonprofit based in Lewiston.
Greeley, of South Portland, has more than 10 years of experience in information technology in healthcare. He manages the Project Management Team at Martin's Point Health Care in Portland.
• The Maine Real Estate & Development Association recognized six notable commercial development projects in Maine at its annual spring conference last month.
The projects include:
Bar Harbor: West Street Hotel by Ocean Properties Ltd.
Lewiston: The Lofts at Bates Mill by The Szanton Co.
Biddeford: Harold Alfond Forum by the University of New England
Portland: Oak Street Lofts by Avesta Housing

• Might & Main, a design firm in Portland, won the Best of Show in the 2013 HOW Promotion Design Awards. The firm was recognized for creating the brand and supporting materials for local hotspot Eventide Oyster Co. It was selected for top honors from nearly 1,000 entries and 70 award winners in this year's awards.
• Catherine Desrochers, a group benefits account manager with Norton Financial Services, earned her registered health underwriter designation.
