PORTLAND — If you are a woman and you live in Portland you’re likely in good health, according to a leading national women’s magazine.

Women’s Health Magazine has named Portland, Maine, one of the healthiest cities in the United States for a woman to live.
The magazine’s fifth annual survey, which was conducted in partnership with Men’s Health, ranked cities in 41 categories that inclued nutrition, cost of living and cancer rates.
Portland placed near the top of the list for best cities for women to live in, earning a rank of 10th place out of 100 cities. Portland beat out much larger cities that included San Diego, Honolulu and Portland, Oregon.
