Laura Vitanza and Cynthia Eyster as villagers and Hal Cohen as Shmerel the beggar in Acorn Productions’ “The Wandering Beggar,” which opens Friday and continues through Dec. 18 at the Acorn Studio Theater in Westbrook. Marva Pittman is among the stars of “Broadway at Good Theater,” running Thursday through Dec. 4 at the St. Lawrence Arts Center in Portland. The show features leading man Kevin Earley, who appeared in “Les Miserables,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and other shows on Broadway.
