The NHL parent Phoenix Coyotes have sent forwards Chris Brown, Andy Miele, Brendan Shinnimin and Jordan Szwarz, as well as defensemen Brandon Gormley and Chris Summers back to the Portland Pirates, their AHL affiliate.
Portland Pirates head coach Ray Edwards said the six players will return in time to participate in a pre-game skate Friday morning at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.
The Pirates, who lead the Atlantic Division with a 23-13-1-1 record, are scheduled to play the Providence Bruins at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
