BRIDGTON — No one was injured Wednesday night in a fire that damaged a large single family home at 7 South High St.
A dispatcher for the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said one person was at home when the fire broke out shortly after 8 p.m. The person escaped.
It took firefighters more than two hours to bring the fire under control, with crews clearing from the scene around 10:30 p.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There were no other details immediately available.
