A member of the Outlaws motorcycle group that was arrested during Tuesday’s federal raid in Old Orchard Beach is scheduled for a detention hearing in U.S. District Court in Portland Monday.

Kenneth Chretien, 45, is charged with resisting a federal search warrant. The hearing is to determine whether Chretien should be released on bail.

Chretien was arrested at 5 Sandy Circle after agents with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives descended on the house with an arrest warrant for Outlaws regional treasurer Thomas Mayne, authorities said. Mayne was killed in the raid.

Chretien came out of the house 15 to 20 minutes later, then refused agents’ commands, according to court papers. They said he rushed at agents who used non-lethal rounds to disable him, including a five-second shock with a Taser.

Afterward, Chretien submitted to arrest, the court papers said.
