EXETER, N.H. — A New Hampshire sheriff's department says a 29-year-old Exeter mother sold narcotics to undercover agents while her 3-year-old child was in the car.
Officials say Katelyn Kashian was arrested Monday and charged with three counts of sale of a controlled narcotic drug.
Rockingham County Sheriff Michael Downing tells the Portsmouth Herald it's likely Kashian will also be charged with endangering the welfare of her child. The child is now in the custody of a family member.
Police say Kashian has been under investigation since September.
She was arrested on Monday after she allegedly gave an officer the narcotic Suboxone in exchange for a substance purported to be heroin.
